Favorite Holly Hunter Roles - Holly Hunter to star in Diablo Cody Comedy
I have been a fan of Holly Hunter since I saw her in the Coen Brothers Raising Arizona and Blood Simple. Ever since then I have enjoyed her unique roles throughout her career. Deadline reports that Hunter has just joined the cast of Diablo Cody’s feature directorial debut. The comedy also stars Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and The Help‘s Octavia Spencer.

I love this look inside broadcast journalism. Hunter is fantastic in this film opposite William Hurt and Albert Brooks. This is a must-watch movie if you are interested in a career in journalism.
The Incredibles:
Hunter’s Georgia twang is unmistakable in Brad Bird PIxar movie, which I feel is one of their best. I love this movie and think Hunter did is great in it.
Thirteen:
Catherine Hardwicke did a fantastic job with this powerful look into the life of a rebellious teen. Evan Rachel Wood and Nikki Reed are great in this film that is a true slice of California life.
O Brother Where Art Thou:
Hunter and the Coen Brothers have a great history together. I love every movie that she has starred in for them. Her accent and her strong will were perfect for the role, and she is great opposite George Clooney.
I think this new comedy will be perfect for Hunter and will show her range The story follows “a sheltered young woman (Hough) who loses her faith after a plane crash and heads to Vegas to experience the wild side of life. Hunter will play her conservative and overprotective mother.
