Cody Horn joins cast of THE OFFICE

Cody Horn (Rescue Me) has been cast in one of the three new roles being added to NBC's The Office, after Steve Carell departs.

There are no details known about Horn’s character at the moment, except that she’ll be "a pleasant and smart addition to Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch." TV Line reports she'll be involved in a hot-and-heavy romance with a longtime staffer if you believe the following quote from executive producer and costar Paul Lieberstein (Toby):

“We’re very excited to have found Cody. We’ve been searching for a love interest for Creed for a long time. So just sit back and get ready to be disgusted.”

Horn previously starred on Rescue Me, where she played Sean’s seemingly perfect girlfriend who happened to suffer from post-coital flatulence. She also had a supporting role in the Rob Reiner's Flipped.

Her duties on The Office start off as recurring role, but reportedly will have serious series regular potential.

The hit show is also casting two other roles including, Stanley’s other daughter and a new male addition to the accounting department.

I love The Office and think that the show will be just as awesome after Carell departs. The writers are great the show will still be successful going forward.
