Red Band Movie Trailer for I SAW SAW THE DEVIL

TrailerMovie Red-Band by Joey Paur

I Saw the Devil was one of my favorite films up at The Sundance Film Festival this year, and it's one of the most brutally intense films I think I've ever seen. We now have a brutal red band trailer showing off a good amount of soul crushing madness.

This is the ultimate revenge movie. I loved the story, and I promise you’ve never seen a revenge flick like this before. The film was directed by Kim Jee-woon, who also directed The Good The Bad The Weird, which I absolutely loved. The film stars Lee Byung-hyun (The Good The Bad The Weird) and Choi Min-sik (Oldboy) who were both awesome bringing these insane characters to life.

I had this to say in my review for the film, "This film has got some incredible scenes. Of course, most of these scenes are extremely violent and blood-gushingly insane. I’ve never seen so many people get their heads bashed in in a movie before, and the camera doesn’t cut away from it! You see people's heads being cracked open, but those aren’t even the most brutal parts of the movie! I won’t spoil anything for you, but you will be shocked, and you will cringe. There are also parts that may make you want to curl up into a ball and cry. " You'll get a good idea of what I'm talking about in this new trailer below.

The film comes out in theaters on March 4th. Watch the trailer for the film below and tll us what you think!

Here’s the plot synopsis for the film:

Kyung-chul is a dangerous psychopath who kills for pleasure. He has committed infernal serial murders in diabolic ways that one cannot even imagine and his victims range from young women to even children. The police have chased him for a long time, but were unable to catch him. One day, Joo-yeon, daughter of a retired police chief becomes his prey and is found dead in a horrific state.

Her fiance Dae-hoon, a top secret agent, decides to track down the murderer himself. He promises himself that he will do everything in his power to take bloody vengeance against the killer, even if it means that he must become a monster himself to get this monstrous and inhumane killer.
