RENOVATION Thriller Creeps to First Theaters!  The 1st Yuma, Arizona feature film collaboration between Rampart Entertainment, Paisaen Productions and Collective Development Inc. had a “work in progress” theatrical test showing in October 2010. A great crowd gathered to watch this suspenseful thriller with a soliddose of scare and gore. The film follows an Ex-Con played by a new genre favorite Anthony Hornus (“Blood Ties”, upcoming “Locked in a Room”) as he's released from prison and goes in search of stolen money from a bank heist many years earlier. The money seems to be hidden in the now empty Hotel Del Sol recently purchased by a group of renovators led by Allen Liarsby played by another genre favorite DJ Perry (“The 8th Plague”, “GPS”). The film also features screen vets Lana Wood ("Book of Ruth, Journey of Faith"), Johnny Dark ("Resurrection”), Fred Griffith ("Dean Teaster's Ghost Town") and Terence Knox ("Tour of Duty") in roles.

The film written by Charles Pisaeno and directed by Robert Gwinn will have a special theatrical run at the Yuma Historic Theater March 11th and 12th, 2011. See www.renovationthemovie.com to get exact play times and ticket prices.

The movie plays as a double feature with “Nailed” starring Harvey Keitel directed by Joel Silverman and produced by fellow local Yuma producer Doyle McCurley. Both Doyle McCurley and Charles Pisaeno will be at the screenings to answer Q&A after the film.

Renovation” screeners will start going out to interested distributors this month while additional theatricals are being set up. Others theatrical screenings are in the works for Las Vegas and Michigan. They hope to have the movie out to TV and DVD/BlueRay by Halloween 2011. Next up on the slate is a cyber/serial killer film called “Stranglehold” being produced by Pisaeno Productions in association with Collective Development Inc. and will once again bring DJ Perry on board in a lead role. Most recently DJ Perry has been associated with horror projects “Locked in a Room,” “Resurrection” and upcoming “Darkest Night” shooting in the Philippines this April.
