Louis Leterrier set to direct Magician Heist Film NOW YOU SEE ME

Clash of the Titans director Louis Leterrier has landed a new directing gig with Summit Entertainment called Now You See Me. We reported on the film back in June of last year. It's a crime thriller that pits a crack FBI squad in a game of cat-and-mouse against a super-team of the world's greatest illusionists, who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances, showering the profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law.

Illusionists and magicians pulling bank heists? This sounds awesome! I'm big fan of magic and good bank hiest films so there is definitley some potential here. I think these are the kinds of films that Leterrier is good at. With Clash of the Titans he proved he didn't have what it takes to make an epic movie. He was up to direct James Cameron's Fantastic Voyage remake but lost out to Shawn Levy.

Now you See Me is being written by Boaz Yakin (Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time) and Edward Rocourt. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are producing.
