Synopsis:
When a middle-aged man drops dead in a Mexico City shopping mall, leaving his widow and three teenage children destitute, the devastated family is confronted not only with his loss but with a terrible challenge — how to survive. The big issue at hand is that they have always existed on a diet of human flesh, consumed in bloody ritual ceremonies, and the victims have always been provided by the father. Now that he is gone, they must determine who will do the hunting. With a superb sense of aesthetics, slow-burning suspense and a dark wit, Mexican writer-director Jorge Michel Grau has created an arthouse horror treat.
