Wouldn't it be nice to see FIREFLY Resurrected?

How awesome would it be if Firefly returned to TV with all new episodes? It's such an awesome thought that there's no way it will ever happen. Unless Nathan Fillion won a $300 million dollar lottery! Yesterday Fillion admitted he would love to reprise his role a Capt. 'Mal" Reynolds, after being asked if Fox admitted they screwed up by canceling the series, and invited him and Joss Whedon to give it another try.

Yes. Yes. I would examine very closely Fox's reasoning—I'm a little gun-shy. If I got $300 million from the California Lottery, the first thing I would do is buy the rights to Firefly, make it on my own, and distribute it on the Internet.

Today a couple of Firefly writers have popped up on twitter supporting the cause of a series resurrection.

Jose Molina, the executive producer of Haven and wrote the Firefly episodes Trash and Arieltweeted,

For what it's worth, I've told him I'd drop what I was doing and follow.

Replying to Molina, Jane Espenson, the co-creator of Syfy's Warehouse 13 and wrote the Shindig episode of Fireflytweeted

I'm there, if needed.

Could this be the beginning of a firefly revolution? I sure hope so! If more of the series talent chimed in on this and showed their support who knows what it could lead to. And you can help by joining the fight. The Borwncoats have organized, and they are making an attempt to pull it off.

A fan campaign has begun at Help Nathan Buy Firefly and Facebook to try to raise the funds needed to get things rolling. So if you want to contribute to the Firefly cause then here's your opportunity.

It would be so cool if this actually worked. What do you think?
