Hans Zimmer Teams with Rodrigo y Gabriela for ON STRANGER TIDES Score

And with one small news story, my anticipation for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has skyrocketed. Walt Disney Records just put out a press release (via ComingSoon) stating that renowned composer Hans Zimmer - who recently did the brilliant score for Inception - will be teaming with the amazing Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela for the newest installment in the Pirates franchise.

If you're unfamiliar with Rodrigo y Gabriela, check out the video below and you'll see how talented they are. I can't wait for their virtuoso playing style coupled with Zimmer's ear for adventure; this score could very easily end up being my favorite of 2011.
