Man Shot During BLACK SWAN Screening for Eating Too Loudly

In Latvian, which isn’t the home of Doctor Doom as I first though, folks take their films quite seriously. During a recent screening of Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, a 42-year-old man was eating his popcorn too loudly, much to the chagrin of another audience member. When the film faded to credits, the disgruntled patron confronted the man over his eating habits and shot him. The victim later died from his wounds.

Thanks to this incident, I’ll no longer be making discreet attempts to check Twitter during any film, no matter how bad it is.
