Amber Heard wants in on some Red Sonja Action
Drive Angry 3D producer Avi Lerner recently said that he would like to see co-star Amber Heard play Red Sonja in the new movie going into development. What does Heard think about that?
I was sort of surprised to hear about it, yeah. I think (producer) Avi (Lerner) even said himself, "She doesn't know it yet." So I was surprised, but also it's something I've been looking at for a while and kind of interested in. I'm definitely interested in being a part of it, but that's all I can kind of comment on right now.
Heard is incredibly good looking, but she can't act worth crap. I guess for a movie like this it wouldn't matter if the actress can act or not as long as she's hot. That's just how this movie looks like it's going to play out. It sounds like she's in negotiations to take on the role, so it will be interesting to see what happens. Personally, I don't think she's got badassery to pull off the part. Lerner previously said that director Simon West (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Mechanic) would develop the film.
