Contest: Create your Own Clay Avatar, Go "CLAY YOURSELF"!

 

Hotels.com recently launched its “Clay Yourself” micro site, where the public can create their likeness in clay.  With detailed facial features, hairstyles and accessories, anyone can create a clay-style avatar.  These custom images can then be submitted to the “Star in a hotels.com Commercial” contest.

One lucky winner will be flown out to Los Angeles to watch their clay likeness molded and featured in an upcoming hotels.comcommercial. Additionally, eight weekly winners will receive $200 in hotels.com vouchers.

But that’s not all!  As a throwback to the original Nintendo gaming system, www.ClayYourself.com now features an Easter egg, enacted by the Konami Code (Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right-‘B’-‘A’-Enter).  Be sure to turn the volume up when you enter the code!

The contest runs now through February 25, 2011.
