THE WALKING DEAD Season 2 Is Assembling its Writing Staff!

We all freaked out a few months ago when we heard the writing staff from The Walking Dead was let go.  Today Deadline has word that Glen Mazzara (who wrote one of Season One's episodes on a freelance basis) has signed a deal to join The Walking Dead Season Two as a writing executive producer and will also be the #2 guy to creator/ executive producer/ director Frank Darabont. He is in the process of putting together a staff of about 5 writers. We now can rest a little easier peeps! Season Two will be a full 13 episodes too! no word still on when we'll see S2 but it'll probably be in October and i'm cool with that!
