Nic Cage Says You Haven't Seen A Comic Book Movie Like GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE Yet

         

The more we report on Nic Cage and Ghost Rider 2 aka Spirit of Vengeance the more interested and curious I get. Could the duo of  Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor  (Crank 1 and 2) make up for what the first one lacked? Cage thinks so! In an interview with Screen Crave the actor spoke very highly of the co-directors and the sequel;

"It's really fresh and original. Mark is like a stuntman, camera operator, director all rolled into one. He's literally risking his life to get shots. On rollerblades, on bungee cords, he's even patented the rollerblading stuff because no-one else in the business is doing that."

Ok, what if the two directors make us a Ghost Rider film with the adrenaline feel of Crank? I'll call it a success! Here's a little more from the Cage man on Brian Taylor;

"And then Brian Taylor is just a walking encyclopedia about movies. We've had great conversations about all kinds of films."

Finally Cage added about the film itself and how we haven't seen any comic book movie like it before;

"It's not going to be like any other comic book movie you've seen," said Cage. "We keep stressing that Ghost Rider is the most supernatural superhero of all and that's going to really come out in this movie."
