SCREAM 4 gets its MPAA Rating and its not PG-13

Yay! It's not going to be watered down!  This news should make a lot of Scream fans, horror fans and newbies happy. Wes Craven's  Scream 4 has been Rated R  for  "strong bloody violence, language and some teen drinking." Are you happy now? I know just this rating alone will drive some of you to see how far they have taken it this time. Remember, just a few weeks ago raven Twitted that this is the bloodiest entry so far.

Scream 4 stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Britt Robertson, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Niico Tortorella, Mary McDonnell, Alison Brie, Anthony Anderson, Aimee Teegarden, Marielle Jaffe with cameos by Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Shenae Grimes, and Lucy Hale.

Synopsis:

"Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger."

Scream 4 slices into theaters on April 15th, 2011
