SXSW 2011: Crazy Ass Trailer for Joseph Kahn's slasher film DETENTION
Here's another good one that'll be screening at this year's SXSW Festival. It's the Breakfast Club gone wrong! Behold the crazy ass trailer for Joseph Kahn's new film Detention. Yes, the video director Joseph Kahn as we reported like a year or so ago (remember the cool ass poster art?)!
The slasher stars Dane Cook, Josh Hutcherson, Shanley Caswell, Spencer Locke, Parker Bagley, Alison Woods, Walter Perez and Evan Williams. Dig on the trailer courtesy of MTV.
Synopsis:
The film follows a 17-year-old who is given detention on the night of her prom. Over the course of the night her friends are murdered by a fictional horror movie icon. It's said to be in the vein of Scream with elements of Back to the Future (time travel is involved) and classic John Hughes teen films from the 80's.
