Tom Hanks and Tim Allen to Reunite for JUNGLE CRUISE?

Toy Story stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen might end up reuniting for a new Disney film inspired by the classic theme park ride Jungle Cruise. This is a film project that the studio has been wanting to get into production for a long time, with Hanks and Allen attached to the project there's no doubt it will take off.

The film will be a live action film, and the studio has hired Roger S.H. Schulman to write the script and Mandeville's David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing thefilm they recently produced the Academy Award nominated filmThe Fighter. 

There is no director attached to the project yet, but I love the thought of seeing Hanks and Allen together up on the big screen in a film with a Disney Jungle Crusie setting. There's no details on the story but I'm sure it will end up being a fun adventure film.

Hanks is currently attached to another film project I'm excited to see come to life based on the Mattel toy Major Matt Mason, which Playtone is also producing at Universal.
