Jon Turteltaub to Direct Romantic Comedy UNREASONABLE DOUBT
National Treasure director Jon Turteltaub is currently in negotiations to direct a new romantic comedy being set up at Universal Pictures called Unreasonable Doubt. The film will be written by Serendipity scribe Marc Klein.
The story is about two jurors who fall in love during a court case. There isn't much more revealed on the story, but that little bit of information pretty much tells us all we need to know about what kind of movie this will end up being. It's pretty cut and dry unless they throw in some kind of alien invasion.
Turteltaub also directed films such as The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Kid, Cool Runnings and 3 Ninjas. I'm not a big fan of most his films, but I really enjoyed Serendipity so hopefully at least the script is good.
