SUPER 8 IMAX Trailer with a bit More Footage

Paramount Pictures has released a movie trailer for J.J. Abrams' Super 8 that is being shown on IMAX screens. The trailer contains a little bit more new footage. Watching these trailers for Super 8 gives me goosebumps. I absolutely love the style, look and feel of this movie. There's something magical about it that makes me feel like a little kid again, like the first time I watched E.T., The Goonies, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Do you know what I mean? I know the movie was mean't to be a tribute to the old school steven Spielberg movies, but the vibe of these trailers just nails that magical Spielberg era. 

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

The film stars Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basson, Joel Courtney, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills and Amanda Michalka, and it will be released in theaters June 10th 2011.
