Tobe Hooper Brings Together his Cast for his Supernatural Film DJINN

Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist director Tobe Hooper has cast Khalid Laith (The Devil's Double) and Razane Jammal (Carlos) in his new supernatual horror film Djinn. The script for which was written by David Tully.

The haunted house thriller follows a young Emirati couple who return home from the U.S. and discover that their new apartment in a luxury high-rise built on the site of an abandoned fishing village is also home to malevolent beings known as Djinn.

Hooper had this to say in a previous statement:

Simply put, this movie will scare everyone, no matter where you live or what you believe in.

It's been a long time since Hooper has made a really good film, I hope this movie gives him a chance to do something great again. The movie sounds like it could be a pretty awesome. 

Supporting roles include Aiysha Hart, Carole Abboud, Paul Luebke and May El Calamawy. The film is scheduled to start shooting in the United Arab Emirates this week.
