TromaDance 2011 Announces Official Feature Film Selections For 12th TromaDance Film Festival

I truly am a lucky guy! I got to hangout with Troma head cheese Lloyd Kaufman this past weekend at HorrorHound in Indianapolis and he's frakkin awesome!  Check out the latest PR on Tromadance which is coming up on April 22-23.





March 28, 2011 (New York, NY)-  It was announced today by Tromadance Program Director Jonathan Lees, that the feature film selections for the Tromadance Film Fesitval (April 22-23, Asbury Park NJ) will be Drew Bolduc's The Taint, Joshua Grannell's All About Evil, and the East Coast premiere of Miguel Angel Vivas' Kidnapped. 


Also,  TromaDance will host a special block of NEW shorts from Academy Award nominated animator Bill Plympton, who will present Guard Dog Global Jam, The Cow Who Wanted to be a Hamburger and The Flying House. These films represent the eclectic mix of innovation and independence which makes Tromadance a truly visionary festival.  You can learn more about the features and shorts at


TromaDance is the first film festival wholeheartedly devoted to filmmakers and fans. Unlike every other film festival, TromaDance does not charge filmmakers to submit their films. Entrance to all screenings is free and open to the public. Also, thereare no VIP reservations or preferential treatment regarding films, panels, or parties of any kind given. The organizers of TromaDance believe films are meant to be seen, especially when it comes to new filmmakers. Art - in all its forms - is for the people!  Tromadance was created in 1999 by Troma President and Creator of the Toxic Avenger, Lloyd Kaufman, based on an idea from SouthPark creator Trey Parker.

Jaime, Marta and their daughter Isa have just moved into a luxurious new house. Marta begins to prepare the dinner and puts a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate the move. As night falls, three hooded men violently force their way into the house. Panic ensues and soon the real violence will begin.


The 12th Annual TromaDance Film Festival have announced the first round of short films selected to screen over the course of the cult two day festival, 22-33 April @ The Showroom Theatre- Asbury Park, New Jersey.
