Chloe Moretz joins DARK SHADOWS

Earlier we reported that Chloe Moretz was rumored to have joined the cast of Tim Burton's Dark Shadows. Deadline is reporting tha it's rumor no more, and Moretz is in talks to play Carolyn. She's the daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer), the reclusive matriarch of the Collins clan and owner of the Collinwood mansion where the supernatural saga unfolds. Moretz just completed filming Martin Scorsese's Hugo Cabretand she is currently starring in the Derek Martini-directed Hick with Blake Lively and Alec Baldwin. The actress is expected to reprise her role as Hit Girl in a Kick-Ass sequel.
