Relativity Media developing reality show based on CATFISH for MTV

Relatively Media is currently developing a reality show based on Catfish for MTV. The film followed "a photographer who falls in love with a woman he meets on Facebook but eventually finds out she isn’t exactly who she claimed to be." Variety reports that MTV’s reality series (still in the early stages of development) will likely focus on people who intentionally “misidentify themselves” online and the repercussions that follow.
