The Soska Twins share a little info on AMERICAN MARY
Sylvia Soska (one half of the ultra cool Soska Sisters aka The Twisted Twins) who brought us Dead Hooker in a Trunk shared some goods with me over the weekend and their next feature, American Mary. When we let the cat out of the bag a few months back about their next film we showed y'all the cool teaser and after the twins announced that Mary would be played by Katherine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps) we now have our first look at her for the film, and I realize I'm a little late on this but never the less we have it for you.
In a society where the economy is constant downfall, we find people struggling even more to make ends meat. With people that have above average drive and ambition, we see people having to act out more ruthlessly to fight for the life style they so desperately seek while at the same time trying to keep up personal appearances that everything is fine below the surface. This struggle for success while creating a personality on the surface is the heart and soul of the story that is American Mary.
