First SPIDER-MAN comic sells for $1.1 million

 

The highest price ever, was paid for a Silver Age comic book. News hit today that an unidentified private collector paid $1.1 million for a copy of Amazing Fantasy #15 graded at 9.6. That is a huge chunk of change. I still don't think that it makes sense to pay that amount for any comic, but that is just me. THe hight price is because this is the ONLY known copy in that pristine un-opened/un-read condition!

Would you pay that type of money for a comic of this caliber?
