Here's the movie poster for Jospeh Kahn's new teen horror comedy Detention. Kohan is a terrible film director that made a crappy movie a few years ago called Torque. This Detention film looks absolutley ridiculous. The folks at collider put it perfectly when they said mix of Scream, The Breakfast Club and a Disney Channel made-for-TV movie. I'm not sold on it.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

Detention, is a teen horror-comedy where the local students of Grizzly Lake must survive their final year of high school. Standing in their way is a slasher movie killer who has seemingly come to life. It becomes a race against time to stop the killer and save the world – if only they can get out of detention. The Detention cuts through prom. Most of them don’t have dates anyway.

Detention premieres on Sunday, March 13th at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
