Daniel Sunjata Cast in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Daniel Sunjata is the latest actor that's been cast in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan has been filling up his cast recently, and other than the usual suspects like Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman, Sunjata will join actors such as Tom Hardy who's playing Bane, Anne Hathaway is taking on Catwoman, Joseph Gordon Levitt who will be Alberto Falcone and then there's Marion Cotillard who might be Thalia Al Ghul. Nolan has recently been filling up the smaller roles as well. Juno Temple was cast as a Selina Kyle type sidekick, and Josh Pence is taking on the role of a young Ra’s Al Ghul.

Sunjata is best known for his role in the TV series Rescue Me, and according to The Tracking Board, he is “rumored to play an ‘important character to the story.’” That gives us nothing on who he will be, but he's in the movie, and the part will be a speaking role.
