Kevin Durand joins David Cronenberg's COSMOPOLIS

Kevin Durand has joined the cast of David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, according to Variety. The film was will be written and directed by Cronenberg and is based on Don DeLillo's novel of the same name. The story follows "a multimillionaire on a 24-hour odyssey across Manhattan as he attempts to get a haircut, betting his wealth against the declining Japanese Yen." Robert Pattinson will play the millionaire and Durand will play the part of his head of security. The cast also includes Juliet Binoce, Sarah Gadon, Paul Giamatti and Samantha Morton. Durand most recently starred in I Am Number Four and in Ridley Scott's Robin HoodCosmopolis is slated to begin production shortly, with filming in New York and Toronto.

I am really excited to see this film. I know I am going to catch some flack for saying this, but I am a huge fan of Pattinson. I think people are going to blown away by him in Water for Elephants. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
