Wes Craven is the latest director to be featured as part of Mondo's Director Series. Earlier we shared Mondo posters for Guillermo Del ToroDuncan Jones, and Zack Snyder. The posters were created by Alex Pardee for A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream. With Scream 4 opening Friday, this is a perfect way to honor the Master of Horror, and immortalize two of Craven's most influential films. There are posters planned in the future for Craven films Swamp Thing, The Last House of the Left and The Hills Have Eyes

Craven made the following statement about being featured in the Mondo Director’s Series:

It’s an honor and great fun to be chosen by Mondo to participate in their Director’s Series. I think the posters brim with wild imagination and sly humor. Thank you so much – I’m pleased my films have earned a place in your gallery!

Click on the posters below for the full-size versions and share your thoughts!

The poster for A Nightmare on Elm Street has an edition size of 160 and Scream has an edition size of 140. Each 16 x 24 inch print will cost $35 and will be available for purchase on April 14. Follow @MondoNews for the announcement. What are your thoughts on these posters? What other Craven film's should be immortalized?
