Joseph Gordon-Levitt talks Rian Johnson's LOOPER

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in Shanghai promoting his role in Rian Johnson's Looper. Gordon-Levitt was last in Japan for Christopher Nolan's Inception, and now has returned to Asia for the China-set action-thriller. Looper also co-stars Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt and Chinese actress Xu Qing.

Here is what Gordon-Levitt said in a statement, "I feel now, doing 'Looper,' is the result of what happened with 'Inception.' It is something I have been working for my whole life."

Xu said Sunday that "It is like nothing I have seen before. It has action. It has romance. It also deals with philosophy. I really like it."

I am a big fan of Johnson's Brick and The Brother's Bloom and am very excited to see him take on the sci-fi genre. Aside from Gordon-Levitt, the supporting cast of Blunt and Willis is solid. What are your thoughts on this news?
