Patrick Warburton Cast in Seth MacFarlane's TED

Movie ComedyTEDCasting by Joey Paur

Patrick Warburton has landed a role in Seth MacFarlane's first live-action film TED. Warburton, who has had roles in films, TV shows, and animated series such as Seinfeld, Family Guy, The Emperors New Groove, The Tick, The Venture Bros. and more. I've always found the guy very funny. He makes a great addition to the cast which also includes Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Adam Scott, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel McHale and Seth MacFarlane.

In the film Warburton will play "Guy, the sexually confused co-worker of John (Wahlberg) at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car front office." It's sounds like a perfect fit, Deadline believes that MacFarlane wrote the part for the actor, because the script described the character as "a burly Patrick Warburton type."

Ted is a hard-R comedy that follows an average Boston guy play by Wahlberg who's normal except for the childhood wish he made that his teddy bear could come to life... which it did. Years later, the boy is an adult and the bear is still his best friend. But the bear, a carousing, irresponsible slacker, is getting in the way of his buddy committing to adulthood and the girl he loves. Ribisi will play Donny, a man who's obsessed with Ted.

It was previously reported that the film will also feature “a racist homosexual, a woman obsessed with talking about men shaving their assholes, and a ‘Jewish-looking’ person who makes anti-Semitic remarks.”

There's no doubt this is going to be a hilariously awkward movie.
