The Killing's Mireille Enos in talks to star in WORLD WAR Z

Mireille Enos (AMC's The Killing) is in talks to star in Paramount Pictures feature adaptation of World War Z being directed by Marc Forster. Not too long ago the film was in jeopardy of even being made, but is now on track to start production this summer. Deadline is reporting that Enos is up for the role of Brad Pitt's characters wife in the adaptation of the Max Brooks book. In The Killing, she plays Sarah Linden, the homicide detective trying to solve the murder of Rosie Larsen. If cast, this will be her first major studio role.

A group of risk-sharing partners, that include Skydance's David Ellison, to help cover the $125 million budget of the Plan B-produced film. Matt Carnahan wrote the script that will focus on the "aftermath of a global zombie war 10 years after the conflict, with a researcher for the UN Postwar Commission interviewing survivors in countries that were decimated by flesh eaters."

Enos also starred in HBO's Big Love. I love The Killing and highly recommend you watch it. This book was great, I really enjoyed it and am excited to see it adapted for the screen.
