WVIL the Camera of the Future

Artefact Group's Concept Camera WVIL has some very brilliant ideas. Like a lens that is a self contained module, and a simple touch interface for controlling focus and zoom on the lens wirelessly when detached. I'm hoping this is an idea that the folks a RED pick up.

Surprise it works! Not only that its Target specs look pretty amazing.

I love the idea of attaching my iPhone to a camera base and lens. It seems like the possibilities would be endless.

As the technologies in this concept are real its just a matter of time before we see a real camera like this. It's just a matter of who will bring it to market first.
