Here is the Cannes Film Festival movie poster for the Julia Leigh directed film Sleeping Beauty starring Emily Browning. If you watched the trailer that was released for this film, then you know that this isn't the Sleeping Beauty story you're all familiar with. In this version Browning plays a student who becomes a prostitute who ‘works’ while drugged into sleeping When she wakes up she can't remember her clients after they have had their way with of her. Yeah, that's pretty twisted right?

This film looks very unsettling, and it has a Stanely Kubrick type feel to it. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, I've embedded it below, but I warn you it's NSFW.

A haunting erotic fairy tale about Lucy, a student who drifts into prostitution and finds her niche as a woman who sleeps, drugged, in a ‘Sleeping Beauty chamber’ while men do to her what she can‘t remember the next morning.
