Marisa Tomei, Alec Baldwin and more join cast of LUCKY THEM

Marisa Tomei, Thomas Haden Church, Alec Baldwin and Allison Janney are set for the leads in the upcoming indie film Lucky Them, according to Variety. The film is co-written and directed by Huck Botko (writer of The Last Exorcism and writer/director of The Virginity Hit). The story follows a “rock music journo assigned to track down her ex-boyfriend.” So far we don't know any specifics about the cast, but it's most likely that Tomei will play the journalist. 

The film is being funded by John Henry, owner of the Boston Red Sox and his wife Linda Pizzuti Henry, and was the last producing project for Paul Newman before his death. Newman's wife, Joanne Woodward, has taken over as executive producer and production is expected to begin later this year.
