Addison Timlin lands the Lead Female Role in ODD THOMAS
Hello! You may have never heard of Addison Timlin until today, but you wiil, she is a rising star that's currently in negotiations to take on the lead female role opposite Anton Yelchin, in the Stephen Sommer's directed film adaptation of Odd Thomas.
She was on the shortlist of actresses that were up for the role that we reported on last month. She beat out the other actresses which included Emma Roberts, Kat Dennings, and Portia Doubleday. Lily Collins was also circling the part, but when she took the title role of Snow White in Relativity Media's film, she also took herself out of the running for the role.
Timlin will play Stormy Llewellyn, the girlfriend of the title character in the supernatural thriller, which follows a short-order cook with clairvoyant abilities who encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.
The movie is scheduled to start production in May 2nd in Santa Fe, N.M. This could be a really good movie... if Stephen Sommers (G.I. Joe) wasn't directing it. Timlin plays David Duchovny's love interest Sasha Bingham on the most recent season of Showtime's Californication, which I haven't watched yet.
