First Look at the Remake of FRIGHT NIGHT

Here' your first look at the upcoming remake of the horror film Fright Night, which is being directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the real Girl), and stars Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) as the lead character. He plays a horror fan who suspects his neighbor, played by Colin Farrell, is a vampire.

The film is set in Las Vegas, and it will feature what is described as "a more badass vampire" than what we've recently seen in the new vampire movie hollywood trend. The screen writer of the film Marti Noxon said in a previous interview that this vampire is a much more ‘Jaws’-like vampire in the Amblin tradition…

So it will be as if Steven Spielberg were going to make a vampire movie? If we go back to the old school Amblin films, we know that the film we be a slow build-up to an awesomely climactic ending, which is exactly what the original film was like.
