Sylvester Stallone WILL Direct EXPENDABLES 2 After All!

We reported back on March 9th that Sylvester Stallone would hand over writing and directing duties to someone else for Expendables 2 because the shoot took so much out of him. The word is that hired director Wayne Kramer (Running Scared, The Cooler)  has departed due to the obligatory "creative differences". 

Stallone has decided not to bring on another director and just direct the movie himself.  Hey, one thing about it is he can direct and knows what he wants so I say go for it!  It looks like most or all of Stallone's mercenary buddies will be back plus a few "big names" being added to the list including Bruce Willis and I wouldn't doubt a role for Arnold Schwarzenegger will be written in. Hey, he's looking for work everywhere right now!

The sequel is set to shoot its way into theaters on August 17th, 2012.
