THE WATCHING HOUR spec horror project coming from New Line

A spec script called The Watching Hour was purchased by New Line on Friday. The horror film was written by Carey and Shane Van Dyke (possibly grandsons of Dick Van Dyke) and will be produced by Mary Parent and Michael Connolly of Mad Hatter Entertainment. The project is described as "a home invasion film, only with aliens." The story is very fresh so there is not much else to report on this story at this time. 

I am a sucker for any type of alien film so the story sounds promising to me. Home invasion films have been done tons of times, but never an alien home invasion to my knowledge.
