Woody Harrelson Officially Joins THE HUNGER GAMES
Yesterday Stanely Tucci officially joined The Hunger Games, today Woody Harrelson, who was also in talks to join the film, has officially signed on as well. Harrelson will play Katniss Everdeen’s mentor Haymitch Abernathy, who is a drunk that was victorious in the 50th Hunger Games, more than two decades before Katniss’ enters the games.
On top of that the District 10 Tributes have been cast in the film as well, those actors include a couple more newcomers, Jeremy Marinas and Dakota Hood.
Harrelson, Marinas and Hood will join the already huge cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Wes Bentley, Elizabeth Banks, Dayo Okeniyi, Amandla Stenberg, Jack Quaid, Leven Rambin, Willow Shields, Paula Malcomson, Ian Nelson, Kalia Prescott, Ethan Jamieson, Tara Macken, Chris Mark, Jacqueline Emerson, Ashton Moio, Kara Petersen, Sam Ly, Leigha Hancock, Samuel Tan, Mackenzie Lintz, Imanol Yepez-Frias and Annie Thurman.
It looks like the District 2 Tributes are the only two other parts that needs to be announced as far as Districts go.
