NBC passes on Wonder Woman pilot

NBC has decided to pass on David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman pilot. The new series updated the comic book classic, with Diana Prince as a CEO of a major conglomerate by day and a butt-kicking hero by night. The series was said to have a a lot of contemporary music interlaced. Kelley had so much hope in the series that he requested a commercial-free premiere. It looks like that will not be happening.

An official reason as to why NBC rejected the show is not known. Insiders are reporting that the pilot received mixed reviews at test screenings. The initial costume was released online to complaints from many fans. The production team retooled the design, which was seen in some shots from the set.

I really was not too excited for this remake. Hawaii 5-0 was very lucky to gain audience support, but not all TV remakes can make the cut. What are your thoughts on this news? Were you looking forward to see this show?
