Gillian Jacobs joins cast of Steve Carell's END OF THE WORLD

Gillian Jacobs (Community) has joined the cast of Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. The film was written by and will be the directorial debut of Lorene Scafaria. She joins Steve Carell and Keira Knightley as they embark on a trip to find Carell’s lost love while an asteroid is on a collision course for earth. 

Jacobs will star as a waitress high on Ecstasy the duo meet on their journey. The cast includes William Petersen, Adam Brody, Rob Corddry and Derek Luke. The film is slated to beging filming in  Los Angeles this week.

I really like her in Community and am interested in seeing her in more roles on the big screen. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
