Crime Scene Pictures producing Joe Lynch's action thriller EVERLY

Crime Scene Pictures is moving forward on Joe Lynch's action thriller Everly, with Adam Ripp and Rob Paris producing. This marks the second feature film for Crime Scene. Gambit is currently filming in London starring Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz.

Yale Hannon wrote the script which tells the story of "a down-on-her-luck woman, stuck in her apartment, who must fend off waves of assassins sent by her ex, a dangerous mob boss." The film will be shot entirely in one room, based on a concept created by Lynch. Crime Scene is currently in talks with female leads, with filming slated to begin this winter in New Orleans.

Everly is also being produced by Anonymous Content's Luke Rivett. Rizal Risjad and Philip Elway are serving as executive producers. With the Firth starring in Gambit, the project sold quickly in Berlin this year. Joel and Ethan Coen wrote Gambit's script, but struggled to get into production for more than a decade before Crime Scene stepped in.

I am not too excited to see Gambit, becasue Diaz is starring. As a fan of Firth and the Coen Brothers, I will see it though. Everly sounds like an interesting film, and one that will be great for whatever actress lands the lead.
