Kirsten Dunst, Adam Scott and more cast in BACHELORETTE

Kirsten Dunst, Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan and Casey Wilson have been cast in an indie comedy titled Bachelorette (which will likely be changed). The project is being produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay for their Gary Sanchez productions. The script was written and will be the feature directorial debut of Leslye Headland. The film follows "three best friends (two of whom would be played by Caplan and Dunst) who are invited to act as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they called “Pigface” in high school." The third best friend has yet to be cast.

Caplan’s character is being described as "having a Playboy Bunny body with a Larry David brain." Dunst's character is "referred to as your best friend and your worst enemy", and will have a "crisp and severe" look. Wilson (ABC’s Happy Endings) is playing the bride, "who has big plans for three women." Scott (Parks & Recreation and Step Brothers) is set to play Caplan’s high school crush, "who shows up at the wedding with a beautiful and much younger date."

The project has a budget around only $3 million, and is in the process of lining up its financing. Filming is slated to begin this Summer in New York, depending on scheduling. The project first caught the attention of Gary Sanchez execs during it's stage run as an off-Broadway play titled Bachelorette.

I am not a huge fan of Dunst, but love Adam Scott so this sounds like a movie I may be interested in seeing. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
