Trailer for SHOWRUNNERS - A Doc about Running a Hit TV Series
It's been a full week of new fall TV scheduled for every major network. There's a lot of great looking shows coming out, and a lot of shows that look like they are destined to fail. Here's the trailer to a fantastic looking documentary called Showrunners which revolves around the world of television showrunners. The doc features interviews with talent such as Damon Lindelof (LOST), Jeff Pinkner & J.H. Wyman (Fringe), David Eick (Battlestar Galactica), Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy) and others. They talk about what it's like to be a showrunner on a popular show, and what happens when you sign away creative control.
Here's a little synopsis:
