Felicia Day Cast as Agent Abigail Brand in THE AVENGERS?

IMDB recently updated their casting information for Joss Whedon's The Avengers, and they've listed that Felicia Day has been cast as  S.W.O.R.D Agent Abigail Brand. It looks like some Frost Giants have also been cast in the movie. Now, IMDB has been known to be incorrect on some of the stuff they post, but it would be great if this turned out to be true.

This would make sense for the fact that Whedon actually created this character during his comicbook series, Astonishing X-Men. Day has also worked with a Whedon a couple of times, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. And it's no secret that he likes to work with people that he's already worked with. 

Here is what is know about the character Abigail Brand. she is the commanding officer of S.W.O.R.D., a S.H.I.E.L.D. offshoot that deals with defending the Earth from extraterrestrial threats. Almost no details about her personal life have been revealed, but she is known to be 28 years old as of the Skrull's Secret Invasion.

This would be a perfect role for Day to take on and I hope it turns out to be true. What do you all think about the possibility of Day playing Agent Abigail Brand?
