Lavinia, Venia, Flavious Cast in THE HUNGER GAMES

The Hunger Games casting circus continues, but it has to stop at some point. They can't keep adding cast members to this movie forever... or can they? The movie stars a ton of new young actors, most of which are playing nameless kids who go out to hunt down and kill each other for TV entertainment. 

The new additions to the cast includes:

Amber Chaney will play Lavinia.  She worked as a Capitol servant for Katniss. avinia has dark red hair, striking features, and porcelain white skin. Being an Avox, her tongue was cut out and she is therefore mute. She is also subject to a lifetime of servitude to the Capitol. As an Avox, she is of Panem's lowest social class, even below those from the Seam.

Kimiko Gelman will play Venia. She worked in the prep team on Katniss Everdeen under the lead of the head stylist, Cinna played by Lenny Kravitz. Venia seems to be the strongest of Katniss' prep team as she is left to work on Katniss alone before the 75th Games when the rest of her team succomb to their despondency at her once again being thrust into the arena.

Nelson Ascencio will play Flavious. He is the only male in Katniss Everdeen`s prep team. However, he seems to be soft, like most Capitol residents. He has orange corkscrew locks and wears purple lipstick.

The film is currently shooting in North Carolina under the direction of Gary Ross. I imagine we will see our first footage from this film is San Diego at Comic-Con.
