RUMOR: Nintendo's Project Cafe to Have 8GB of Storage?
The latest Nintendo Wii successor rumor leads one to believe that the console won’t be as next-gen as gamers had hoped. According to Kotaku, rather than having a large hard drive, Project Café will come with a mere 8GB of internal, flash-based storage.
While 8GB is hardly anything when compared to the storage offered by the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, it is quite a bit more than the Wii was equipped with. The fact that it’s flash-based is also a plus; it should be fairly snappy.
We won’t know any concrete details on this system until this year’s E3, which occurs July 7-9 in Los Angeles. Do you feel the console will be somewhat crippled if the 8GB storage rumor proves to be true?
