International Poster for REAL STEEL
Walt Disney Pictures has released a new international poster for their upcoming Shawn Levy directed film, Real Steel. The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, Dakota Goyo, Kevin Durand and Anthony Mackie. If you haven't seen the full trailer yet you should take the time to check it out.
I'm hoping Real Steel ends up being a good movie. I really like the original Twilight Zone story from which the movie is based on, but they obviously threw in a lot of that Hollywood flare. It still looks like it will be a fun movie, and I'll definitely be checking it out in hopes it entertains me.
In the film Jackman plays Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.
