Kevin Smith Wants You For His New TV Shows!

"Nerd Swag personified."

Kevin Smith announced via Twitter and Facebook on Monday that he, in collaboration with Tell Em TV will be developing two new shows for television.

The first supposedly will be a competition to find the biggest, baddest, most geek savvy nerd to be a part of his new television series set in the movie famous comic shop "The Secret Stash". Original Media posts the criteria below...

"He's not looking for actors, he's looking for real people who live and breathe the comic book lifestyle. Must be funny outgoing and have a knowledge and passion for comics, superheroes, movie memorabilia and everything that goes with it. Looking for men and women ages 21 – 35 in the Tri-state area only.  Must be available in Red Bank, NJ on either June 2nd or June 3rd AND a 3-day shoot on June 14th – 16th. To apply, send a picture and a short bio including name, age, and phone number to comiccasting@gmail.com If you are selected, we will contact you to schedule a follow up interview."

Smith also has another project in development which he self describes as a "Pawn Stars for Geeks" in which they encourage collectors to email pictures of them and their memorabilia for a chance to have it appraised on this new show! Once again the details, albeit somewhat repetitive, can be found below.

"Must be available in Red Bank, NJ on either June 2nd or June 3rd AND one additional day between  June 14th – 16th. To apply, send a picture of yourself, and a description and picture of the item with your name, age, and phone number to comiccasting@gmail.com. If you are selected, we will contact you to schedule a follow up interview."

So if you have an insatiable urge to make the trip to New Jersey to help out Silent Bob, and get a chance to be on TV, get on it and send your emails to comiccasting@gmail.com!
