Bokeem Woodbine to Join TOTAL RECALL Remake
Actor Bokeem Woodbine is negotiations to join the upcoming remake of Total Recall. If cast in the film he will end up playing the role of Douglas Quaids best friend who will be played by Colin Farrel in the new movie.
The film is based on the 1990 Paul Verhoeven adaptation of the short Philip K. Dick story, We Can Remember It For You Wholesale. The original starred ArnoldSchwarzenegger as Douglas Quaid, a man who, after buying implanted memories of a vacation to Mars, begins to remember experiences tied to an crazy conspiracy. He believes he is a secret agent on a Martian colony.
Woodbine is a character actor that has had roles in films such as The Rock,Ray and Devil. He will join the recently cast Bryan Cranston as the villain and Kate Beckinsale who will most likely end up playing Quaid's wife.
Total Recall is currently eyeing an August 3, 2012 release.
